Yolanda Thornton collaborates with Khaled Elder Law in offering Elder Care Coordination services to select clients of the firm. As the firm’s Elder Care Coordinator, Yolanda assists with identifying the care needs for the client, provides support, advocacy, education and referrals to varied resources. Yolanda Thornton was born in Brooklyn, NY and now lives in Lancaster, SC with her husband, Kenneth. She is the mother of two, Marques and Maia, and a fur baby “Kane”. Kane is a 125 lb Carne Corso. Yolanda enjoys scrapbooking, reading and spending time with her family.

Yolanda received her undergraduate degree in Psychology from State University at Old Westbury. Yolanda started her career in the field of social services with the city of New York and within the  first few years, she advanced to an administrative position. Yolanda’s background is steeped in aged care, crisis management, case management and administration.
