Pamela Smith

Client Care Coordinator

While Pamela was born in Detroit, Michigan, she has spent many years living on the gulf coast of Florida, and many years in the beautiful North Carolina mountains. She now calls Clover, South Carolina home; living close to two of her three daughters and their families. Her third daughter and family lives in California, but plan on relocating to South Carolina in the near future. Pamela’s favorite pastime is being Nana to her eight beautiful grandchildren.

Among many other work and life experiences, Pamela worked in the healthcare field for over eighteen years. She made the very difficult decision, yet easy all the same, to leave the work force to make sure her Mother’s wishes to stay home were met. Pamela, through helping her Mother, became far too familiar with the challenges of receiving long-term care outside of the home. It was her Mother’s wishes to live out her days in her home. Pamela allowed her to do just that, by becoming her Mother’s full-time caregiver. During those five years, she learned firsthand the importance of being able to not only support the elderly alongside their journey of aging, but also began to realize the need to provide support for caregivers.

It was during this time that she met Attorney Julia Khaled, Louise Griffith, and the Khaled Elder Law Team as a client. Khaled Elder Law assisted Pamela and her Mother to prepare for every challenge faced as her Mother grew older. Pamela knew that when she returned to the workforce, she wanted to be part of a team helping to give support to individuals and families as they navigate through the aging process.

The rest, as they say, is history. Attorney Julia Khaled offered her a job at a client meeting; when Pamela was ready, following her Mother’s passing, she reached out and said Yes!

Pamela assists in client care coordination, client services, administration for current clients and generally helps out wherever she sees a need and can! She treasures offering her assistance to those in need.
